June. How many times have I wished for it to be over? 100? 1000?
It has been an interesting month, although I use the word “interesting” very loosely. I've been working on the DL to finish this month's pieces because, dagnabbit, I wasn't about to spend an entire MONTH without making art-- no matter how overwhelming things got...and they did!
In the next few hours, I will have uploaded the remaining 11 pieces for this month's collection.
Because I've had to work on these pieces at random times, making use of odd moments of freedom, I rarely had time to write accompanying posts. However, that isn't true for all the pieces: some have a back story, some don't. Also, as with these two pieces, some I worked on back to back. I somewhat consider them twins because although different, they were done while I was in the same state of mind and thus, might have traces of things in common. I decided to group them because once you take a look at them, it just makes sense.

It's down to the wire. I am moving this Saturday and who knows when I'll be sufficiently settled into the new house. But as with June, I will never NOT keep arting.
